Love from HK

Recently my cousin's partner went to Hong Kong and I just had to ask him to get me some skincare products that I have been wanting to get my hands on and this is what he came back with.

I have been a Laneige junkie ever since I started using a couple of their products over the past 3 months(?) which has cleared up my skin dramatically. I received:

. Laneige Pore trouble skin refiner (love!)
. Laneige Strawberry yoghurt peeling gel
. Laneige Strawberry yoghurt pack (yum)
. Laneige Water sleeping pack plus
. Tony Moly Berry Berry cherry whitening sleeping pack x 2
. Japanese brand face mask in cherry and apple
. Fashion/Beauty magazines
. Portable speakers (green matching my ipods ^^)
. Huge pack of dried mango and Shredded squid (yummilicious!)

I did ask for a few more Laneige products but they were sold out so boohoo. Had some friends over last night and they almost finished the dried mangoes. Do they even have such big packets in London?
I definitely can't wait to try all these out especially the whitening packs and mask as I'm trying to aim for a brighter complexion. Does anyone else know of a good/effective whitening/brightening product that they could recommend?

Can you believe I have never visited Hong Kong before? It shocks everyone I tell but it's true and don't worry I definitely know what I am missing out. I have already started to make plans with friends to go there early next year and I'm determined to make it happen!!! Just thinking about it now makes me excited ^^.

New additions to my e.l.f collection

o Daily brush cleaner - scented, anti-bacterial
o 2-in-1 conditioning gloss - Ultra sticky, poor colour pay off
o Eye transformer
o Single shadows in Saddle and Sand Dollar
o Blush in Tickled Pink and Peachy Keen
o Lip primer and plumper - plumper has a strong cinnamon scent and did not work for me
o Brightening eye colour quad in Hazy Hazel, Punk Funk and Nymph Dreams
o Blush brush - really soft
o Hollywood eyelashes kit (not pictured) - Glue sucks, natural full lashes, easy to use lash tweezers.

As usual, I still need to try these out properly but I do love their Studio line packaging and how the single eye shadows and blush provides mirrors in each compact ^^

NOTD??

I think I have found my all time favourite nail colour (so far).

Collection 2000 Hot Looks in 27 Wham (Grey)
The green one also by Collection 2000 in 36 Ninja
I've been looking out for a nice grey not too dark and not looking metallic/silver. I did see a lighter shade in Urban Outfitters but for £6 I decided to put it down. This one was from Boots and costing no more than £2. The consistency is quite thin so would need 2 coats at least to get full coverage.

p.s I need to learn to take better nail pictures, the above picture gives me an awkward feeling. I do apologise.
p.p.s I'm loving Hyun Ah (4minute)'s new solo single Change. =]

Getting crafty

So recently I decided to finally whip out my sewing machine for the 1st time ever which was given to me Christmas 2008. Its actually less complicated than I thought and now I'm trying to find inspirations to make stuff using it.

After testing it out a few times on bits of material I found around the house I made a cover for my machine to keep dust away. I know it looks very simple but I am extremely delight with the outcome of the bow ^^. Just need to get more thread and fabric in different colours. Anyone know of a good place to look?

Whilst doing some sale shopping in Bluewater I came across an arts/craft shop that I have never noticed before. They actually have a wide range of products from jewellery/card making to paints, pens, brushes, books and more. I found myself spending almost 30mins in there.

4 textiles pens and a tube of pva glue and a spatula. There was so much more I wanted to buy and look at but was being rushed by the shoppers I was shopping with. They also have an online store so check it out if you are interested.

Other stuff I brought online over the past week (being ill at home meant a lot of time for online shopping lols).

Some fabric paint and a 25pc brush and sponge set both from ebay.

Some newbie doodling I did on old clothing garments. I used the textile pens on the green top and fabric paint on the cream top.

Back to the drawing board and brainstorm some ideas. Ciao~

Hey guys, hope you are all well (still trying to recover myself). I love snow but hate ice!! So dangerously slippery out there.

I came across this fellow blogger who is having a blog/facebook sale. She has a lot of cute bits and bobs so check them out. =]

Reminds me to sort my stuff out too.

"A piece of me..." in January 2010

Yes, I have finally decided to join the game that most of you probably know was started by Shirley at http://notesfromthetoothfairy.blogspot.com
. Check out her blog for more info on the rules of the game. So let's begin:

This month

I like: That my kitchen, bathroom and toilet will be under major construction work from the 5th.

I don't like: That my new year started with me being really ill.

I want you to know: That I have set myself some really high goals to reach and have never felt more determined to make things happens for myself this year. (yn)

I've planned: To start taking driving lessons again, soon.

I want to say to someone special: Thank you *smiles brightly*

Now why not share a piece of you and see how things change over each month.
